Excited to say we just dropped our latest podcast with Chaplain Stephen Streed, from Eventide Senior Living Communities. Steve shares his journey from his early art and graphic interests in Illinois to his current role as Senior Chaplain. Dropping this episode a bit early. Ken Norman, Attorney (and friend) in Moorhead, sat down and offered some great (and free, as Ken notes!) basic information pertaining to estate planning. He touches on some of the more important things to consider when considering wills, healthcare directives , end of life issues, and more.

This conversation is not to be considered your own personal advice. You should pursue your own legal counsel when it comes to your estate planning, but Ken does clarify legal terms as probate, joint-tenancy, trusts, durable power of attorney and such. It can be a very confusing process but it is one that should not be ignored.

Ken will also be speaking at a free seminar Korsmo is hosting on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at the Courtyard by Marriott in Moorhead. More information on that seminar will be placed here shortly.

A few of our staff had a great morning volunteering at Farm in the Dell. Kevin was even on hand to greet us and get a photo op! With beautiful blue skies and clouds above, the weeds didn’t stand a chance as we cleared around the honey berry bushes. Thanks to Matt Larson and all the engineers that hosted us.
