Fix-it Friday!

Today, we are discussing the most dangerous problem with deadlifting: Not doing them!

Deadlifts are often labeled as a painful movement and are, therefore, simply avoided. But the hip hinge is a common movement pattern we use every single day to accomplish tasks—and deadlifting is the best way to train it!

Deadlifts can even be modified to be easier when you're starting out, harder as you progress, and tweaked to accomplish your specific goals.

Practicing this movement weekly prepares your body for the tasks ahead. Whether you are picking up your kids, carrying softener salt bags, or even shoveling—the deadlift is a crucial movement you must be able to do!
