Nu Scape Designs is a company owned by Donna Hamner. She has been a Los Angeles resident since 1982 and is originally from South Florida. She currently resides at Rancho dos Vientos in Newbury Park after making homes in Marina Del Rey, Malibu and Calabasas. She has been an interior plant specialist for the past 14 years and loves the process of beautifying indoor habitats with designs that are in sync with their environments. Drawing on her previous experience as original florist for Universal City walk and gift basket business which was branded by Ralph's, Bristol Farms and Raley’s Super Markets, the creation of Nu Scape has been a natural progression. Her designs have graced the St. Joseph’s Hospital in Mission Viejo garnering her 2010 award of merit from the Plantscapes Industry Alliance. Nu Scape has also been the vendor of choice for St. Jude’s Hospital holiday design themes for the past 9 years. Donna is totally “hands on” with all the services offered by Nu Scape to insure that all client’s needs and budgets are met. She is a perfectionist and personally handles all residential accounts. Nu Scape Designs provide a complete service from plant and container selection to installation and weekly maintenance. Watering, cleaning, trimming, manicuring, inspecting for bugs and treatment to insure plant vitality is all part of the Nu Scape plan. Nu Scape also provides Orchid service for home and office. Keeping indoor plants alive requires skill. Donna has the expertise. Living walls and container gardening for a touch of indoor/outdoor color is what Nu Scape does. Donna also specializes in living walls and her Living Wall at the Stonehaus Restaurant and wine bar is a very popular feature with patrons.
