Day 5 of Skilled Nursing Home Week was a fun-filled day!
We celebrated with a BBQ for staff and residents, and the beautiful weather made it perfect to enjoy lunch out on the patio. Our Culinary Director cooked on the grill for us, making the day even more special. Our maintenance director even captured some amazing photos from the roof! Staff also received new t-shirts featuring this year’s theme, “Moments in Bloom.”
We ended the fun-filled week with a music performer who brought lots of energy and smiles to everyone. It’s been a wonderful week filled with daily themed activities, fun memories, and special moments shared together. 🌸🎶

Day 4 of Nursing Home Week was a tropical hit! 🌺🏝️
Staff enjoyed a Hawaiian theme day complete with a bagel bar, while our residents celebrated island-style with an Elvis Party — and yes, Elvis was in the building! 🎤🕺
We served up Jailhouse Rock Cake and Elvis’ famous peanut butter, banana & bacon sandwiches. Needless to say, there was lots of singing, dancing, laughter, and fun all around!

Day 3 of Nursing Home Week was full of cozy fun!
Staff celebrated with a flannel and outdoor-themed day, complete with the chance to create their own trail mix. Residents enjoyed our “Flannels and Flapjacks” celebration with delicious flapjacks and lots of smiles all around. It was a warm and wonderful day for everyone

Day 2 of Nursing Home Week was all about the 70’s and GLOW! ✌️🕺✨
Our staff enjoyed delicious charcuterie cups made by a couple of hippies before the residents joined in for a disco-filled Glow Party! From bright colors to dancing and laughter, everyone had such a fun time celebrating together. 🪩

Today’s theme was Fairy Day, and everyone had such a wonderful time! Residents and staff enjoyed our enchanting Fairy Elixir Bar and had fun helping put together the fairy garden. 🌸🍄✨

Each month, our Grateful Grove starts fresh with a clean slate. It’s always a joy to see staff and visitors share their appreciation and recognition for our Moose Lake Village employees. How do they do this you ask? Simply fill out a nomination form, and we proudly display the nominations on our trees. Each month will feature a new theme, and in May our theme will be flowers. Every nominated employee will be highlighted on a Cassia Standard Tree, which quickly blossoms with gratitude and kindness. It’s wonderful to watch the trees fill up with appreciation for our employee’s month after month.
