Located in beautiful Moosic and Danville, Pennsylvania, Geisinger Behavioral Health Centers are a premier provider of behavioral health treatment for adults. We offer treatment for people who have acute symptoms of mental health concerns, such as bipolar disorder, depression, PTSD, anxiety and psychosis. Treatment at Geisinger is delivered by a highly qualified and experienced team of professionals that includes psychologists, mental health therapists, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, psychiatric nurses, physician assistants, behavioral health technicians and case managers. Our team also includes occupational therapists, creative arts therapists and dietitians, which allows us to provide specialized support in addition to traditional therapies. Our staff is committed to providing the patients we serve with exceptional care by helping them embrace and define their strengths so that they can be successful on their healing journeys. Our state-of-the-art hospitals offer spacious therapeutic settings that feature patient rooms designed for comfort and safety, as well as dedicated spaces for recreation, alternative therapies, individual therapy, and group support. We are proud to share that Geisinger Behavioral Health Center Danville was honored with the Community Progress Award by the Montour County Chamber of Commerce. This recognition highlights the center’s role in expanding access to inpatient behavioral health services and strengthening mental health care resources throughout our region.

Opened last summer following a $49 million investment, the facility represents a significant commitment to meeting the growing need for accessible mental health treatment while supporting workforce development and keeping high-quality care close to home.
