💜 On September 13th, Recovering Hope team members Miranda and Darliene joined the Su***de Prevention Walk in Pine City, MN.

As helpers in this field, our lives are deeply touched by the realities of su***de, overdose, mental health struggles, and addiction. At times, our professional work parallels our personal journeys, as many of us have experienced the heartache of losing loved ones to these same struggles.

This walk was not only a chance to stand in solidarity with the community, but also a meaningful space for our team and their families to reflect on their own grief, honor their loved ones, and find comfort in remembrance. 🕯️💜

We walk to remember. We walk to raise awareness. We walk to restore hope.

Jessica, Chris, and Melissa loved connecting with so many of our incredible alumni, community partners, and friends in recovery. 💜✨

🌟 Last month, our team had the privilege of joining the BLADE: Redefining Recovery Walk in Brainerd, MN to celebrate Recovery Month! 🌟

It was an inspiring day filled with community, connection, and a powerful message that recovery is possible and worth celebrating.

💜✨ Our own Residential Advocate Staff Chris and Nicci had an absolute blast representing Recovering Hope and walking alongside so many others committed to hope and healing.

Every step was a reminder that together, we are breaking down stigma, building support, and redefining what recovery looks like. 💪🌿

💜 At Recovering Hope Treatment Center, our commitment to saving lives is never off the clock. Even at the Minnesota State Fair during the Atmosphere concert, our President, Sadie Broekemeier, was quick to spot Naloxone being promoted by our incredible partners at Steve Rummler Hope Network. 👏✨

As a proud Naloxone Access Point in rural Minnesota, Recovering Hope is dedicated to making sure life-saving resources are always within reach. Too many lives have been lost to preventable overdoses, and we believe access to naloxone should never be limited by geography or stigma.

Together with the Steve Rummler Hope Network, we’re working to expand hope, empower communities, and ensure that every family has the tools to fight back against overdose.

✨ What an incredible turnout at the Pine County Fair last month! ✨

Over 1,400 people stopped by the Recovering Hope Treatment Center booth to connect, learn, and support recovery in our community. Together, we handed out more than 10 kits of naloxone and fentanyl test strip. These lifesaving tools can make all the difference.

By showing up, speaking up, and sharing resources, we are recovering out loud and breaking down the stigma that surrounds addiction and mental health. 💜

💜 Overdose Awareness Community Event Reflection 💜

On Sunday, August 31st, 2025, we joined Recovery Roots Supportive Services at Train Park in Sandstone for their Overdose Awareness Day Community Event. It was a powerful afternoon of connection, remembrance, and hope.

Overdose Awareness Day reminds us to honor the lives lost, support those who grieve, and continue breaking the stigma surrounding addiction. Being part of this event allowed us to stand alongside community members, share resources, and reflect on the importance of healing together.

We are grateful to have been in attendance and to witness the strength and compassion of our community. 💜

🌈🙌 What a day our team had at Duluth Pride last week! 🌈🙌

Residential Advocates, Chris S. and Melissa Q., soaked up the joy, met incredible people, and spread the word that recovery is possible.

Last month, Recovering Hope Treatment Center brought joy, energy, and purpose to the Kanabec County Fair and we did it in style! With a float full of laughter, bold messaging, and a crew of passionate staff and alumni, we celebrated recovery out loud and showed what it means to be a force for good in our community.

Not only did we take home serious bragging rights for what we feel is the best float in the parade, but we also distributed free Naloxone kits throughout the fair. These lifesaving tools empower everyday people to reverse opioid overdoses and are a key part of harm reduction because saving lives is always worth celebrating.

Our presence sparked meaningful conversations, helped reduce stigma, and reminded folks that recovery is real, recovery is possible, and recovery is happening right here. We handed out smiles, resources, and hope and because every conversation matters, and every connection counts.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, grabbed a kit, cheered on our float, or shared a kind word. Together, we are changing the narrative- one fair, one float, and one life at a time.

This week, at the Mille Lacs County Operation Community Connect hosted by United Way, we had the privilege of connecting with incredible professionals and community members who share our commitment to hope, healing, and recovery. 💙

At Recovering Hope Treatment Center, we believe collaboration creates lasting impact. By coming together with like-minded partners, we continue to strengthen the support available for individuals and families on their recovery journeys.
