May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and what better way to honor your journey than through art?

Journeys Toward Healing Counseling Center is hosting their 2026 Community Art Competition, and we want to see our alumni show the world what healing looks like through YOUR eyes.

Does the theme "Journeys Toward Healing" sound familiar? Any art medium is welcome painting, drawing, photography, mixed media, digital, and more.

🏆 Awards:
🥇 1st Place — $100 Gift Card + featured in JTHCC media & building
🥈 2nd Place — $75 Gift Card + displayed in building
🥉 3rd Place — $50 Gift Card + displayed in building

Categories for Youth (12 & under), Teen (13–17), and Adult!

For those of you who are caretakers of American Indian children who the child welfare system has impacted, this one is for you.

Metropolitan Urban Indian Directors is hosting American Indian Long Hair Teachings, a beautiful opportunity to learn traditional teachings and proper care for long hair, honoring culture and identity in the process.

Rebuilding family means honoring the whole child, including their culture, their traditions, and their roots. We are proud to share resources like this with our community.
