Happy Tuesday!🎯

today was such a great day! our residents kicked things off with a Walker, Texas Ranger marathon this morning—and in case you were wondering… no, you absolutely cannot turn off the TV when Walker is on😂

this afternoon we kept the fun going with a couple rounds of Bingo and a very competitive game of Trivia… still friendly though, don’t worry! haha

what a beautiful start to a new week… aside from the hail storm Mother Nature keeps sending our way🌧️

I may have been slacking a little on the social media side of things, but don’t worry—the Activities are still in full swing!

we’ve been enjoying watercolor painting, singing along with Lynn Oliphant, watching The Help & Fried Green Tomatoes, and putting together our weekly newsletter🥰

and just like the storms rolling in… we’ve got even more activities headed your way! more field trips on the horizon & a whole lot more fun coming soon🎉

Happy Tuesday!🚃✨

today was another Field Trip Day!!🥰
we got out & about and headed over to Fort Scott to hop on the trolley and learn all about the town’s history! we cruised through and saw Gunn Park (and where it’s flooded from the storm), the National Cemetery, and all the beautiful brick mansions—so much to take in!

after the trolley ride, the residents were told there was just one more stop… and they were SO surprised when our activity director treated everyone to Dilly Bars at Dairy Queen!🍦💛

we had such an amazing day soaking up the sunshine, enjoying each other’s company, and making lasting memories together!

Happy Thursday!✨

We sure know how to throw a party around here—let me tell ya!

A huge shoutout and BIG thank you to Rusty Rierson for coming out and performing for us! It was absolutely amazing. The residents loved your voice, your humor, and all your stories❤️ We’re already looking forward to the next time!

The sunshine showed up just in time, so we took full advantage with a good ol’ fashioned cookout! We had burgers, hotdogs, our Chef Lia’s famous potato salad, baked beans, and watermelon—safe to say it was a hit with everyone!

This afternoon we were blessed to have Bert lead us in Bible study. As always, he filled the room with joy, smiles, and uplifting words.

Happy Wednesday!💅🏼

today was the perfect midweek pick-me-up!
we spent the day relaxing, making bracelets together, enjoying some banana muffins, and getting our nails done!💖

a few of the residents even got fresh, brand new hairdos—and they are feeling like brand new people!🥰✨

Happy Tuesday!✨

We had such a great day today! We started off strong with a fun game of hockey ball during Group Therapy—at one point we even had TWO balls going at the same time! Safe to say, everyone had a blast!🏒😄

After that, we tapped into our creative side and painted flower pots that will come in handy next month (stay tuned… lots of exciting things coming with our landscaping & garden teams!🌸🌿)

This afternoon we played bingo, handed out lots of prizes, and even squeezed in a few rounds of competitive trivia while we played!

Happy Friday!🙌🏻

wow! what a day… and what a week!

a HUGE thank you to Jamie Dewitt for bringing her baby turkeys to visit the residents this morning!🦃 they didn’t have names when they arrived, but by the time they left, the residents had named them Thanksgiving and Christmas! how fun is that?!

also, a big shoutout to Hope Chapel for leading us in worship and prayer again this afternoon! the residents truly enjoyed it and loved singing along!🎶🤍

our therapy team hosted a Pie in the Face fundraiser this week, and thanks to everyone’s votes, we raised around $380! over $150 of that went toward voting for our Lead CNA, Jess!

Jess took that pie to the face like a champ😂🥧 and the residents absolutely loved watching, especially since they helped vote all week!

today was FIELD TRIP DAY!!🙌🏻

we had an absolute blast enjoying the beautiful weather and getting out on the town for a bit!☀️

a HUGE thank you to Kirk and Katie at Chancy's Grill & Shake for the delicious shakes for our bus ride to Fort Scott!🥤💛
and a special shoutout to Rhonda at the Lowell Milken Center for Unsung Heroes—the residents truly enjoyed the tour, the stories, and all the laughs!

today we kept busy with resident council this morning, then got out to enjoy the beautiful weather this afternoon! we wrapped up our day making coffee filter tulips 🌷 it was so much fun swapping stories and sharing laughs together!
