Leaven Massage Therapy is now a Texas based business! Thank you regular LMT clients for your patronism, support, and reviews from when LMT was established in Louisiana in 2017 to 2022 you afforded me the opportunity to help you feel and function better. I definitely have missed helping clients the LMT way, having been working at a spa for the past two years. It's been a 2nd long time coming, but with hard work, diligence and the support of family and friends Leaven Massage Therapy LLC is fully active again and has undergone a business model innovation, now offering more than just massage therapy thereby warranting a name change. LMT is encoring with the name Valence Bodywork Collection, a Texas based LLC. Services are offered in a cozy boutique hotel room-like atmosphere with upscale provisions consisting of a selection of bamboo, eucalyptus or silk linens. A variety of massage therapy services are offered from classic massage therapies like swedish and deep tissue to specialty forms like Thai massage. Bodywork offerings range from manual lymphatic drainage to personal training. This is an exciting new era curated to enhance the health and well-being of clients.

Leaven Massage Therapy

Thank you for considering Leaven Massage Therapy. My name is Rita Reid, owner of LMT and as a physically active person I know the value of massage therapy and seek to receive it pretty regularly. When i first moved to Moreauville, Louisiana in the spring of 2014 it was difficult to “find” a professional massage or massage therapist. I either had to travel far or near pay a “luxury” price. These two circumstances prevented me from receiving massage as often as needed. I knew there must be others that felt this way about massage therapy availability and options in Avoyelles Parish. In the fall of 2016 I established Leaven (pronounced Lev-uh n) Massage Therapy LLC in efforts to bring quality, convenient, economically priced massage therapy to Avoyelles Parish. Leaven Massage Therapy’s door officially opened January 31 2017 presenting a spa-like environment that focuses solely on therapeutic massage therapy services both in clinic and outcall. Sessions are by appointment only, requiring booking at least an hour in advance to your desired appointment time. Appointments can be made by phone, website or Facebook message. The many services offered and price ranges are listed under “services” on Facebook and on our website www.leavenmassage.com under “rates.” Forms of payment accepted: cash, all major credit cards, checks and apple pay. Gift cards are available for purchase in clinic and we also accept Spa & Wellness by Spa Week gift cards which can be purchased at Walmart, Walgreens or CVS. Not only do I seek to help the community by providing a therapeutic service but i also enjoy participating in events and giving back by contributing to charities. People often ask what does leaven mean? Leaven is an element that produces an altering or transforming influence.
