Hello my glasses made it were I can go outside and walk without tripping all the time. I don't get headaches anymore and sit down read without getting motion sickness within 3-5 minutes of reading. I can finish books quickly and enjoy them. I can do so much more then I did before the glasses. I can go out and not hurt my eyes from the light. I am used to being in the dark and use text to speech programs a lot more then I do now. These glasses changed so much for me. I am grateful that I found out about this syndrome.

I survived a hemorrhagic stroke when my kids were little. I was left vision impaired. I could walk & talk, that's not so bad, right? But, unfortunately, I was unaware of the many debilitating side effects that would follow. Light sensitivity, headaches, wavy vision & even seizures ended up a part of daily life. That changed with my first pair of Irlen glasses! I have had many pair through the years and am thankful EVERY day for the freedom and life that they bring me. Words are not enough
