Today was one of those good-for-the-soul days at Embassy At Morehead City
🧡🦃

We hosted our very first Thanksgiving meal with our residents and their families… and let me tell you, the room was filled with nothing but smiles, stories, full plates, and even fuller hearts.

There’s something special about watching families gather around a table laughing, catching up, sneaking extra bites of pie, and just enjoying being together. Moments like these remind us why this work matters so much.

Our dining team truly outdid themselves… the turkey, the dressing, the green beans, the sweet potatoes — and don’t even get me started on the pie. (If you know, you know! 😄)

We are just grateful.
Grateful for our residents.
Grateful for their families.
Grateful we get to create moments like this in their home.

Here’s to many more memories, more full tables, and more days like today. Happy early Thanksgiving from all of us at !Embassy at Morehead City. 🧡✨

We are having the BEST time in Memory Care… the elves have officially taken over. 🧝‍♀️🎄

Our care team? Folding, gluing, and trying to keep the glitter in one zip code (spoiler: we failed 😂).

Our residents? Picking out papers like pros, calling out their favorite colors, and lighting up every time an ornament magically “appears” from the workshop. 🙌😉

There’s laughing…
There’s twine…
There’s at least one elf with glitter on their nose.

And the whole room feels like Christmas showed up early.
Pure joy. Pure magic. Pure Memory Care Christmas fun. ❤️

🚐💛 Our Van Has Arrived!

Today felt like a little milestone for us. Our new Embassy at Morehead City van rolled in, shining in the sunshine, and honestly… we were all a little excited.

It’s more than just transportation.
It means our residents can go on outings, rides by the water, all the simple things that add joy to a day.
And yes… we're gonna ride in style and profile, because why not? 🤷‍♀️

We’re already imagining the laughter, the stories, and the “let’s take the scenic way home” moments that will happen in this van.
We've been chatting about a history tour with our resident tour guide. We think we'll plan to go see the Christmas lights too! 🎄

Keep an eye out for us and give us a wave 👋 as we go by.

We spent the afternoon honoring the brave men and women who wore the uniform, and the incredible spouses who kept things strong at home.

Our hearts are full as we celebrated their service, shared a few memories, and said a personal “thank you” to some of those who now call Embassy At Morehead City home.

We are deeply grateful for every Veteran and every family who has served. Your courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten. ❤️🤍💙

Yesterday morning we welcomed Rev. Darrell Williams and the J.O.Y. (Just Over Youth) group from First Baptist Church in Morehead City, and what a joy it was! 💛

We shared a few stories over hot coffee, apple cider, and warm cinnamon twist pastries. There was laughter, conversation, and some really special moments. It felt like family from the moment they walked in.

There’s just something about fall that brings out the creative spark in all of us.

Our residents created these absolutely adorable paper pumpkins each one as unique as their personalities!

The laughter, the conversations, the little “oops” moments that turned into beautiful details… it reminds us that joy doesn’t come from perfection it comes from connection. ❤️

🍁 It was a full day of fun at Embassy At Morehead City.

We loved spending the morning at the Havelock Senior Center Fall Event, sharing information about Embassy Healthcare and taking care of our senior community. 💜

Renee Melby, Director of Marketing was on hand sharing all things Embassy, while our very own, Anita Buck, offered free blood pressure checks to attendees.

We also enjoyed being booth neighbors with our friends from the Eastern Carolina Council Area Agency on Aging such a wonderful group of ladies serving NC seniors!

Caring for our community is what it’s all about. 💜
