Congratulations to JD, who recently completed his physical and occupational therapies with us after he was injured in a fall at home. He came to us unable to walk or dress himself and needing assistance with mobility and hygiene, and now he is walking again and taking care of his daily needs! 👏

"Everyone has been so great here," JD shared. "With the help from therapy, I feel stronger and more confident to return home." 💚

We wrapped up National Skilled Nursing Care Week with some classic cars! 🏎️ Thank you to everyone that brought their cars and chatted with our residents. They really enjoyed them! ⚡

During National Skilled Nursing Care Week, our staff really enjoyed this activity doing the potato race. 🥔 And our residents really enjoyed watching! 😂

🎉 National Skilled Nursing Care week is always a fun time for our residents and staff, and one major highlight of the week is our annual pie-eating contest! 🥧

🩺 We had a lot of fun finishing out Nurses Week. Thank you to everyone who participated in the activities. Also a huge thank-you to Hunt Brothers Pizza, Giovanni’s Pizza of Morehead KY, and Papa John's Pizza for donating pizza to our staff. 🍕

💐 Each year, we set aside a special week to celebrate our amazing residents and associates and the role that skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities play in senior care.

We care for those who cannot care for themselves. We help rehab patients recover from illness or injury. And we do it all in a series of many moments... ☺️

From assisting a resident with getting dressed in the morning to providing meals, activities, medication administration, help with activities of daily living, and therapy as appropriate, our associates work together to create a full experience of care.

Join us this week as we celebrate with a variety of fun activities! 🎉

💐 To the women who cared for us, raised us, fed us, taught us, prayed for us, wiped our tears, tended our wounds, guided us, encouraged us, and most of all, loved us... we say thank you.
