We have had a single mom reach out who is trying to get away from an abusive relationship!!

She found a safe home for her and her babies and she needs $1,040 to move in.

We have an elderly couple who has been without heat and they need propane.

We also have a single mom who was laid off from her job at SEG needing food, diapers, & wipes.

We will be set up about 9am. Everything will be free. We will have a donations tote for snacks to be dropped off for the “Snacks for children” program for the winter breaks!

Starting tomorrow morning we will be taking donations of food items for kids. Things kids will eat that wont ruin

Ramen noodles
Chips
Crackers
Pudding
Bread
Peanut butter
Canned raviolis ect.
Cereal
Viennas
Cookies
Rice Krispies

And so on.

We will be making snack packs for children in our community who may have problems with hunger over the next few school breaks and any children who don’t go to school who need fed.

I had a family reach out that’s needs help. They have to have $500 by Monday to pay rent if they will be evicted. This involves two little girls and a momma who recently got custody back. Momma is going to school. She’s giving it her all and can’t get ahead. Can anyone help this family? I know times are tough but they need a miracle!

More than 1 in 4 adults living with serious mental illnesses also struggles with substance abuse!!!!

Common signs of mental health issues include: extreme mood swings, changes in eating habits, excessive worrying or fear, problems concentrating, and avoiding friends or social activities.

An estimated 26% of Americans ages 18 and older -- about 1 in 4 adults -- suffers from a diagnosable mental disorder in a given year. Many people suffer from more than one mental disorder at a given time. In particular, depressive illnesses tend to co-occur with substance use and anxiety disorders.

It is with our deepest sympathy and broken hearts we announce the death of James Milton.

James was a client in a local rehabilitation center in Morehead KY and attended a parade with us in which Rowan county overdose awareness had the first recovery themed float ever in a parade in town! We placed 2nd place that year. It was a wholesome moment and we celebrated with our fellas in recovery by having a big ole cookout afterwards!

His family is left heartbroken and they need our help!! We will be accepting donations towards a headstone for James.
