NEW YEAR, NEW POSSIBILITIES! Tonight we head to Kentucky and . My friend, Stefan, and I have been talking about the collection he’s bringing to Orlando. In the midst of our chat, I asked him to pick two of his favorite white samples for a New Year’s post. After he sent me this image featuring Medici Ivory and Snowy Egret, we started chatting about his expanding the AFW “Whites.” By the end of the conversation, Stef had hit upon a cool idea for a whole new series to debut at !

IT’S HANUKKAH WEEK! I missed posting yesterday due to an unexpected holiday gift of Covid. Joyful! Anyway, this festive trio from was worth the wait. I’m excited that Stefan Hayes wll be bringing AFW to in Orlando. Check out his incredible custom color hardwoods in The Frame Master Marketplace- Booth 215!

THE WARMTH OF THE SEASON. Here In New Jersey, most every tree has lost its leaves. In Kentucky though, the trees are apparently still half full. When my friend Stefan (of artisanframewerks1) and I were discussing his post for this holiday week, he was adamant that an AF Orange be included. “I can look out my window and see plenty of vibrant orange and yellow leaves that have yet to fall.” Those framers heading to Orlando can check out these hardwood beauties and an amazing array of other AF colors in the Frame Master Marketplace Booth ( #215)!

FALLING INTO FALL: Into the Woods for Wednesday. There are definitely some frame collections that fit seamlessly into the Fall theme. Take , for instance. While this furniture-finished array of Kentucky hardwood styles definitely has its vibrant & colorful side, it seems to me that a larger portion of the line feature autumnal hues. When asked, Stefan Hayes confirmed my observation. He actively built an incomparable library of proprietary colors and the lion’s share just happen to reflect Stef’s own preference for an earthy palette. I’m definitely not complaining!

INDEPENDENCE WEEK. Woodworks Wednesday. My friend Stefan Hayes of has built quite the collection of hand finished hardwoods. For years he’s been developing Artisan’s proprietary Synchron palette with great success. As of today, Stef has built the most expansive and colorful collection of custom, closed-corner, STAINED (yes, you read that correctly) Kentucky hardwoods available to framers! A ST. PADDY’S DAY LEAD-UP: Celebrating in the Appalachians! When I put the call out for Irish-ish picture frame photos to share, my buddy, Stefan, was the first to respond. Stef has positioned his Kentucky-based as the premier hand-painted, hand-finished hardwood frame maker in the industry. His expansive (and proprietary!) color array and incomparable depth of color make the Artisan FrameWerks closed-corner collection a must-have for discerning framers. Grand!

LOVE IS IN THE AIR! The Valentine’s Week framing celebration continues with a visit to in KY. I can’t imagine that my friend Stef will every stop expanding his signature Synchron collection of painted hardwoods. For instance, he recently added this vibrant Bubblegum shade after I asked him for a Valentine’s Day post. Talk about a sweet treat for his framer clients!
