Providing therapeutic menopausal massage services
At a time in life when most people are thinking about retirement, I returned to school to obtain training in massage therapy. After home-schooling two daughters and providing clerical and administrative services in educational, professional and business settings, including stints of being a stay-at-home mom, I realized my desire to continue contributing to society had not ended.
I became more interested in massage and its effect on the natural processes of menopause after reading and studying Christiane Northrup’s book The Wisdom of Menopause. To address my own menopausal symptoms, I began receiving therapeutic massages from the staff at Bodyworks. Their professionalism and the resulting benefits convinced me to enroll as a student of massage therapy at the Bodyworks Massage Institute and to subsequently further my education through specialized training allowing me to focus on providing therapeutic menopausal massage services.
Today I am honored and excited to return to Bodyworks to practice massage therapy and provide women the focused massage they deserve.
