We are overwhelmed in the very best way by the out pouring of love and support our community has shown after the recent fire that affected residents in our outpatient substance use transitional living program.
Because of all of your kindness the calls, messages, donations, prayers, clothing, offers of housing, and pure kindness our residents are safe, supported, and reminded that they are not alone. What could have been a moment of total loss became a powerful reminder of what community truly means.
Recovery doesn’t happen in isolation, and this moment proved that beyond a doubt. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with us, lifting our residents up, and showing up when it mattered most. We are deeply grateful and endlessly humbled. 💙
Special thanks to the generosity of our community partners: Journey 2 Heal, Recovery Rowan County, RC Overdose Awareness Group, Healing Appalachia- Jackie Willis and Robbie Wells, Hope in the Hills, Pathways, and for the swift action of the Morehead Fire Department & our very Brad Childers for ensuring all clients were safely evacuated and secured.
