Wishing you a Happy Halloween from all of us at Caring Dunn Right. The residents and I observed the holiday with a Wizard of Oz theme, Dorthy Aka Geraldine, Scarecrow, Tin woman, Lion, Glenda the Good Witch, the Wicked Witch of the West, the Wizard, and the Yellow Brick Road. we were pleased to have Laura Ingle join us, with her cowgirl, & granny. Also joiningus was Ms. Trunchbull, and a few others. Staff and residents!
We such a fun time with and for the residents!
The menu: was spooky beans, mummy hot dogs, cupcakes.

Caring Dunn Right invites volunteers to provide entertainment and activities for our elderly residents. We welcome crafters, painters, bakers, singing groups, and activity planners to share their talents and lead engaging activities such as baking classes, floral classes, or a fall/winter fun event. Please provide a proposal including a date and time you are available, and we will schedule accordingly. Our residents eagerly anticipate the various activities we can organize. Please submit your proposal. Caring Dunn Right will cover the costs of supplies needed for the event and we are seeking volunteers to lead and teach.

Payton engaged in an activity with the lady during her inaugural day of fall/back to school activities for our residents! Thank you Civitan of Lenawee for dropping off activities for our resident to enjoy. We truly enjoy being part of your community.

Balloon tennis is an enjoyable activity, however, it is particularly entertaining when Fred and Lucy are participating, along with their children, George and Sally. The ladies' non-stop laughter and amusement were unmatched.

Yesterday's school lunch and art class proved to be a resounding success. Teacher Mrs Dunn and her students, including Barb, Pauline, Shirley, Gareldine, and Joan, all achieved an A+. The fair dinner menu included corn dogs, French Fries, and frozen lemonade, with a special contribution of frozen lemonade from Pauline of Rhode Island.

These photos showcase the vibrant spirit of our recent events. Despite a challenging few weeks, marked by a bathroom renovation and the passing of one of our residents 😢, our dedication to resident engagement remains strong. Highlights have included reading sessions with Sage, gardening activities, dishes & laundry and a range of engaging games and exercise classes that have brought us closer together.
