This week, Crossroads Christian Church Special Needs Ministry generously donated goody bags to our Pediatrics and RCCAT teams. Each bag filled with coloring books, crayons and fidget toys were lovingly assembled by participants in their special needs day camp to brighten the day for our youngest patients. We are so grateful for this thoughtful gesture and the smiles it brings to our hospital. Thank you for your kindness and support!

💜 Yesterday, Team RUHS proudly joined the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Temecula! RUHS Assistant Nurse Manager Corinne Hendra and her family walked in support of this important cause, and RUHS was honored to sponsor the event. We also hosted a booth to share helpful resources with the community.

This inspiring walk—held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide—is the world’s largest fundraiser for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. Together, we are stronger in the fight to end Alzheimer’s. 💪💜

As part of National Recovery Month, Riverside University Health System-Behavioral Health will celebrate members of our community in long-term recovery from mental health and substance abuse disorders at our annual Recovery Happens 2025 event on Thursday, Sept. 25 at Riverside’s Fairmount Park.

Our event is more than a celebration of individuals in recovery; it salutes those who work daily to provide prevention, treatment, and recovery services and aims to empower others needing treatment to seek help. You are invited to come on out and join in the celebration, so please save the date!
