IMPORTANT REMINDER: Never leave kids in a parked car alone!

Even when it feels cool outside, cars can heat up to dangerous temperatures very quickly.

Leaving a window open is not enough- temperatures inside the car can rise almost 20 degrees Fahrenheit within the first 10 minutes, even with a window cracked open.

Children who are left unattended in parked cars are at greatest risk for heat stroke, and possibly death.

RUHS recently welcomed more than 70 new residents with a formal white coat ceremony on June 26.

The ceremony, in which the residents receive a white lab coat and repeat the Hippocratic Oath, marked the beginning of their journey as physicians in training.

The event included a welcome dinner, professional headshots, and a chance to connect with physicians, staff, and other residents.

We’re thrilled to support this new group of residents as they grow their clinical skills and make a meaningful impact on patient care!
