In my 30-year chiropractic career, I’ve had the privilege of treating thousands of patients from celebrities and professional athletes to everyday individuals seeking relief and healing. But among them all, it was my true honor to care for a living hero: California Highway Patrol Officer William Snell.

Officer Snell is a highly decorated member of the CHP and has rightfully earned the title of “Hero.” In 1972 While on patrol, he risked his life to save a woman from a vicious dog attack, a selfless act that earned him statewide recognition. His bravery didn’t end there. June 26, 1981, He also played a crucial role in saving lives during one of the deadliest bus crashes in Cajon Pass history, when a stove on a converted bus caught fire. Tragically, the incident claimed the lives of 10 people, including five children. Without Officer Snell’s quick action, that number could have been much higher.

Officer Snell was like the real life version of officer John Baker from the tv show “CHIPS” a steady, dependable hero, who didn’t seek recognition but still found himself in extra extraordinary situations where his quick thinking and courage saved lives.

It was both humbling and inspiring to treat someone who has given so much of himself in the service of others. Heroes walk among us and sometimes, they walk into our clinic. 🚨🚔👮‍♂️🚓
