The Kiwanis Club of East St. Mary is partnering with Miles' Park with a Purpose to bring an inclusive, accessible playground to Berwick — one that every child, regardless of ability, can enjoy together.

This project is named in honor of Miles Liner, a Berwick native and LSU student who was passionate about inclusive playground design before his life was tragically cut short in 2012. His dream deserves to become reality.

The current playground is 20+ years old, broken, and inaccessible to children with physical or developmental differences. We're changing that.

✅ We already have community backing
✅ We've raised over $20,000
✅ The Town of Berwick is on board
✅ We have a clear plan and timeline for installation by December 2027

Even our roll-off containers know when it’s time to stay put. Due to weather conditions, Awopaho Litterbox Rentals Inc. is temporarily closed.
We’re planning to reopen Tuesday at noon, weather permitting.
