☀️🕶️ We are all very excited for the natural wonder that will be happening on Monday April 8th, but we care about your eyes & protecting your vision Looking at an eclipse can cause a condition called solar retinopathy, in which light from the sun burns the retina, the layer of cells at the very back of an eyeball that helps convert light into images. Natural instinct causes most anyone to avoid looking directly into the sun. It's blinding and painful. During an eclipse, the sun is either totally or partially blocked by the moon, making it appear less bright. But the radiation emitted by the sun is still streaming down to Earth and all the eyeballs looking up at it. Please take precautions and do not look directly at the eclipse without proper approved solar eclipse viewing eyewear! ☀️🕶️
