We are happy to announce the opening of our new office in Morganfield. The Morganfield Eyecare Center will be open Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Dr. Heck has over 30 years of experience and has been a partner in the Owensboro Eyecare Center with Vaughn Sanders, OD since 1980. st nine years. Dr. Heck is a U.S. Navy veteran and received both his Bachelor and Doctor of Optometry degrees from the University of Houston He is active in professional associations, having served as President of the Kentucky Optometric Association and as a Trustee fro the Southern Council of Optometry in Atlanta, Ga. Additionally, he has served as President of the Kiwanis Club of Owensboro and as Chair of the Professional Division of United Way. Dr. Heck is licensed and certified to treat and prescribe medications for eye disease, including glaucoma, anterior segment diseases, dry eye, and eye allergies; remove foreign bodies; and co-manage cataract and LASIK surgeries. In addition, our services include state-mandated children's school entrance eye examination. We also have a large selection of fashion optical styles and provide complete contact lens fitting services for all types of vision correction. Our office accepts Medicare, Medicaid, and most vision insurance plans. We are now seeing patients and look forward to meeting the eyecare need of Union County.
