Meet Dr. Mark McManus!
Dr. McManus is our fearless leader here at Hopewell Family Medicine. He graduated from Wright State University School of Medicine in 1987 and completed his family medicine residency with Mission Hospital in 1990. He has been caring for patients of all ages ever since! In 2002 he took a leap of faith deciding to open his own practice and Hopewell Family Medicine was born.
Known for his caring bedside manner and his ability to explain medical jargon in plain English, Dr. McManus makes visits feel less intimidating—and maybe even a little fun. He believes medicine should be personal, not rushed, and that a good laugh is sometimes the best medicine (don’t worry, he still prescribes the real stuff too).
Outside the office, you can find Dr. McManus on a tractor working on his farm raising cows, pigs and chickens, hanging out with his grandsons, or telling dad jokes that make his kids roll their eyes.
We’re thrilled to have him caring for our patients and bringing both skill and smiles to our practice!
