Seeking Full Time Dental Hygienist

At Whitaker Dental Associates, we are a friendly, patient-centered general dental office committed to providing top-notch care in a welcoming environment. If you want to be appreciated and are a kind, gentle team player who loves building relationships with patients, we want you on our team!

Job Responsibilities

-Perform routine dental cleanings, scaling, root planing and polishing for an average of 8 patients per day.
-Comfortably discuss treatment needs, treatment plans, oral hygiene education, and preventive care with patients.
-Utilize Open Dental practice management software for scheduling, charting, and patient records. (Not a requirement, but helpful)
-Collaborate with dentists and staff to ensure smooth operations and excellent patient experiences.

Qualifications

-Licensed Dental Hygienist with current certifications.
-Strong communication skills and a gentle, compassionate demeanor.
-Experience with Open Dental software and DTX imaging preferred.
-Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

About Us:
Whitaker Dental Associates is a general dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. We are committed to excellence and are looking for a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team.

Job Description:
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dentists and ensuring a high level of direct patient care. Your responsibilities will include assisting during dental procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and providing excellent patient service.

Key Responsibilities:

-Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures (restorative, removable, and surgical).

-Provide chairside assistance, including handing instruments and materials to dentists.

-Competency in making temporaries and minor adjustments to removable appliances is preferred

-Taking quality impressions and pouring models

-Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.

-Confidently take quality dental radiographs (x-rays). This could be single films, FMXs, Panorex and CBCTs

-Educate patients on treatment plans and post-treatment care.

-Maintain accurate patient records.

-Ensure a clean and organized treatment area.

-Understand and complete equipment maintenance (ie. Handpiece oiling, waterline flushing, etc)


Qualifications:

-High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred.

-Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA) is a plus but not necessary. Years of on the job training will be considered

-Previous experience in a dental office setting is required.

-Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict infection control protocols in a must.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

-Ability to work well in a team, as well as independently, and maintain a positive attitude.

Job Description:
As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, in person and over the phone. Your primary role will be to ensure that every patient receives the highest level of care and service from the moment they walk through our doors.

Key Responsibilities:

-Greet patients warmly (in person and over the phone) and manage the reception area to ensure a smooth and efficient patient flow.

-Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and handle billing and insurance matters, asking for and collecting money for services provided.

-Coordinate with dental staff to ensure patient needs are met and appointments are run on time.

-Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries and concerns.

-Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

-Attention to detail is a must


Qualifications:

-High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in dentistry or a related healthcare field is a plus.

-Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting preferred.

-Strong organizational skills are necessary.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills is a must. You will be communicating with patients, other patient care coordinators, clinical staff and doctors daily.

-Proficiency in Eaglesoft and Dental Intel is preferred but not a must.

-Ability to work well in a team and maintain a positive attitude.
