Way to Go Hygienists!! Did you know that our Hygienists can now numb you if you need or want it? They completed extra training a few weeks ago to learn this new skill to enhance your experience. Lori, Susan, Colby, Kristy, Angel and Jessica are all skilled (and amazing) at administering anesthetic. If you need a deep cleaning or just have super sensitive teeth or gums, ask them for more information at your cleaning.
Congrats to our very own Brittney! She's this week's featured member for AADOM (American Association of Dental Office Management). She's worked very hard learning new skills to help us serve you better. We are so grateful she's being recognized for it in a big way!
As we are continuing to grow and serve our wonderful community in Morganton, our office is looking to add a rockstar dental assistant to our team. We have some exciting news to start the New Year! Dr. William Link and his amazing staff are now a part of Whitaker Dental Associates. We’ve shared a building for many years and have now made it official. Nothing will change concerning the level of care you have received and will continue to receive from WDA. Dr Whitaker, Dr Hedrick and Dr Sudderth as well as Lori, Susan, Kristy and Colby are all still here providing the top notch care to which you are accustomed. As a bonus, you get to see more smiling faces ready to help you in any way. We hope you are as excited as we are to welcome Dr. Link and his staff to the Whitaker Dental Associates team!
New faces call for a new Whitaker Dental photo shoot! Our office continues to grow, and we are all excited about the opportunities we have to serve our wonderful community in Morganton. We cherish our patient family and each other. Dr. Hedrick spent the last week providing free dental care on a mission trip to Chimaltenango, Guatemala. She worked alongside a team of dentists to relieve the pain of over 500 Guatemalan citizens through dental extractions. She is humbled to have had the opportunity to share her gifts with others, and she is also excited to have further honed her skills with wisdom tooth extractions. We wish her safe travels back to the USA today! 🦷 🇺🇸

As an elderly person, I greatly appreciate the consistent and continued help provided by Dr. Whitaker. I've had unusual problems that could have cost thousands of dollars and she has been able to help me hobble through an affordable step at a time to keep going. She's the best dentist I've ever had and I highly recommend her.

A crown fell off. I called and the ladies wrangled me an appointment/ that day. When I got there- the receptionist- dental hygienist, and doctor looked after me like I was in their family. I am grateful for their professionalism, compassion, and care. Their thoughtful and gentle treatment are in keeping with the highest standards of treatment medicine, and of human decency. Dentists terrify me- but this practice goes above and beyond for their patients. They are phenomenal!! PD

Love the girl who cleaned my teeth. Doesn’t try to talk with both hands in my mouth and expect me to answer, waits to speak to me when she is in between procedures. Very friendly but very professional. Hums and doesn’t realize it and it’s very comforting. Does a great job with my cleaning.

I had the same dentist for 30 years until he retired. I then had two different dentist that bought his practice and decided I needed a different dentist.
I am extremely happy that I chose Dr Whitaker, she is a true professional who cares about her clients. Dr Whitaker was very personable, and took her time going over my file. She actually saved me from having a root canal!
The staff is very friendly and I would highly recommend Whitaker Dental Associates. My entire family is switching to Whitaker Dental Associates.
