We are a community-based, child-friendly center offering consolidated care for child victims of abuse and their non-offending caregivers.

Children’s Advocacy Centers (that's us!) use a child-friendly interview process so children don’t have to tell and relive their story over and over again.

Our interviewer is highly trained, incredibly patient, and deeply skilled at helping children feel safe, comfortable and heard.

Child abuse often happens at the hands of someone a child knows and trusts.
That’s why our children’s advocacy center exists: to provide a safe, neutral place for children to share their stories and begin healing.

• Known for seeing a need and stepping up
• Daughter of Special Victims Unit Detective Penny Smith, a valued member of our Multidisciplinary Team

With the help of her employer, Maurices, Emma organized a Stuffed Animal Drive to ensure that when children arrive at our center scared and unsure, they receive more than a toy; they receive comfort, safety, and something to hold onto during a difficult moment.

Thank you, Emma and Maurices, for helping bring comfort when it’s needed most. 💙

Small gifts, big impact!

Children visiting our center are part of an active investigation into child abuse. We couldn’t do what we do without the incredible support of volunteers like, Tammy Wright.

This is the third year of her Scentsy drive, donating stuffed animals to help bring comfort and smiles to our kiddos. Thank you, Tammy, for your continued generosity and for being such a meaningful part of our mission!

🎃 5 Halloween Safety Tips for a Fun & Safe Night!

Stay Visible!
Use reflective tape, flashlights or glow sticks so drivers can see you after dark. 💡

Plan a Safe Route.
Stick to well-lit areas, sidewalks, and always use crosswalks.🚸

Check Costumes.
Ensure costumes fit well, avoid long hems that can trip you up, and opt for face paint over masks for improved visibility. 🧙♀️

Inspect Treats.
Wait until you’re home to eat candy and check for any wrappers that look unusual or opened. 🍬
