Messenger Speech Therapy

Messenger Speech Therapy is a fun, therapeutic space where acceptance and inclusion are prioritized. Nationally recognized in the Apraxia Kids SLP Directory.

Special trainings/certifications include: PROMPT (Level 1) trained, Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC), and extensive continuing education in the evaluation and treatment of CAS. I provide naturalistic, non-behavioral-based, empathetic, and respectful therapy practices to support neurodivergent children. I utilize a strengths-based, multi-modal approach to increasing communication skills.

I aim to empower parents to implement language elicitation strategies in their natural environment by providing thoughtful explanations, models, and visual supports. I am fully COVID vaccinated (+ booster) and following CDC recommendations including use of FDA-approved clear masks, sanitizing between clients, and limiting waiting room use.

I officially started this continuing education journey with Apraxia Kids in May of 2023, and after 10 months of hard work, I am very proud to be “Recognized by Apraxia Kids for Advanced Training and Expertise in Childhood Apraxia of Speech.”

Very excited for families in Morgantown (and surrounding areas) to have more options for psychological assessment and therapy!

Unlocked Potential is opening in February and just started accepting new clients. Dr. Wallace and Dr. Baniak are both wonderful clinical psychologists and I have always appreciated their collaborative approach to assessment and diagnosis!
