This month, we’re excited to recognize two outstanding team members — and today, we’re proud to introduce our first Employee of the Month: Brian P. 👏

Brian has been a Peer Recovery Support Specialist with Lauren’s Wish for just over a year, and in that time, he’s shown an incredible level of dedication, compassion, and commitment to our mission. 💜💛

Whether it’s jumping in to support a fellow team member or going above and beyond to help clients navigate the early stages of recovery, Brian leads with heart and humility. His passion for helping others is felt daily across the facility, and we’re so grateful to have him on our team. 🤝

Since launching our Outreach Department at Lauren’s Wish in the beginning of this year, our team logs hundreds of meaningful interactions with clients every month. Every conversation, ride, or check-in is focused on providing support, breaking down barriers, and helping people move forward in recovery.❤️‍🩹

This work isn’t easy it takes heart, patience, and dedication. That’s why we made sure our Outreach team got a much-needed break from the day-to-day grind. The crew stepped away from the office and into an escape room for some fun, laughter, and teamwork outside of work. 🥳

We’re so grateful for all they do! 💙

We want to invite you to our 4th Annual Birthday Bash 🎂 on Thursday, September 18th, 2025 at Tropics in Morgantown and our 5th Annual Golf tournament ⛳on Friday, September 19th!

The birthday bash is our way of celebrating Lauren's birthday, which is September 16th, and kicking off our annual golf tournament.

The birthday bash is an evening of celebration and fun. You'll enjoy a Hawaiian-style buffet dinner, live entertainment from Brandon Laxton and Tupelo Drive, auction items and more. Reserved tables and individual tickets are now available here:

Golf enthusiasts will want to join our 5th annual Golf Tournament which is slated for Friday, September 19th at Lakeview Resort. Registration and breakfast are at 8am, with a 10am shotgun start. 🎉 We’ve officially hit 1,000 clients served! 🎉

Today, Lauren’s Wish celebrates a major milestone, our 1,000th client. This moment is a powerful reminder of why we do what we do. ❤️‍🩹

This wasn’t achieved alone. This was made possible because of our incredible staff, our supportive community, and most importantly, the individuals who walked through our doors ready to fight for a new way of life. We are proud of every single person who has chosen recovery, and we’re honored to walk alongside them on their journey. ✈️

From day one, our mission has been simple: to be a place of hope, connection, and transformation. We want to thank everyone who has supported us, partnered with us, and believed in what we do. 🎗️

The future is bright. We have big plans for 2026 and beyond, and we’re just getting started. Our work is far from over—but with the same love, grit, and dedication, we’re ready to help the next 1,000. 🌅
