The Jon Michael Moore Trauma Center is proud to partner with the Trauma Survivors Network to host the Race to Rebuild - a family-friendly run/walk/roll event that brings our community together in support of trauma survivors.

Activities begin at 9 a.m. | 1-mile walk starts at 10 a.m.

Whether you're walking, running, or rolling, participants of all ages are encouraged to take part in this inspiring event that promotes healing, physical activity, and hope.

We have started a new volunteer placement to assist in our Hospitals Sleep Initiative. We call these volunteers the Dream Team! The Dream Team visits patients between 8p - 10p and offers them items to promote a restful night of sleep such as ear plugs, eye masks, warm blankets, puzzle books and coloring pages. The volunteers also offer to adjust their thermostat, turn the volume down on their TV, and put it on the care channel which offers soothing music. We’re excited to announce our Junior Nursing Academy happening this summer for students in grades 9–12!

This hands-on experience is a great opportunity to explore the world of nursing, learn valuable skills, and get a closer look at what a career in healthcare is all about.

• July 13–14: Rising 9th & 10th graders
• July 20–21: Rising 11th & 12th graders

Students will engage in interactive activities, meet healthcare professionals, and gain insight into the nursing field in a fun and supportive environment.
