In collaboration with the WVU University Police Department, we are sponsoring a hands-on self-defense session on November 5th, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Towers Blue & Gold Rooms.

This immersive session focuses on situational awareness, escape techniques, and physical defense skills. Participants will learn how to recognize potential threats, practice effective escapes, and build confidence to protect themselves when help isn’t nearby.

Come ready to move, learn, and feel empowered! For more information, please contact OCPE, compliance@mail.wvu.edu or (304) 293-5600.

We all witness moments that could cause harm ... the question is: What Would You Do? 👀

A bystander notices, but an active bystander steps in. Reporting harm supports survivors, keeps our campus safe, and holds people accountable.

Small actions cause a big impact. Together, we can create a safer, stronger WVU community.
