💕Charlie💕
Charlie is a great dog looking for an equally great home!
Charlie had an awful life prior to coming to us. Our goal is to find him a life so good he completely forgets about his past.
Charlie is approx 2-3 years old & lived most of his life (if not all of it) in a carrier. Not a dog crate.….a plastic travel carrier.
Charlie & 21 other dogs thankfully were confiscated from their “owner” & we were able to take Charlie in.
When Charlie arrived, he had a body condition score of 1. We have been working to refeed Charlie & he is making a lot of progress with gaining weight.
Despite this awful treatment, Charlie is the nicest boy. He likes everyone, he likes the other dogs he has met, and he works really hard to keep his kennel clean.
Charlie does a lot of spinning in his kennel, but who can blame him. When he’s out he is fine!
Charlie will need an understanding owner (all dogs do!), who is happy to work with him on learning how to actually be a family member. He is pretty eager around food, so feeding him in a crate would be best until he realizes food is coming regularly. We would also recommend a slow feeder style bowl, as he tends to scarf it down pretty quickly. 😢
**To add: Charlie is not a very large dog. I would consider him medium size.**
