Now a Doctor of Audiology student, Brooklyn says earning her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders gave her the confidence to walk into graduate school prepared from day one.

“The audiological practicum course gave me hands-on clinical experience with different kinds of audiological equipment used to diagnose and assess patients. That hands-on experience, along with patient care, is what really made me feel confident and comfortable walking in, day one.”

Congratulations to our Pathologists' Assistant students for receiving their white coats!

The white coat ceremony marks their transition from traditional classroom learning to clinical practice, where they complete rotations in surgical and autopsy pathology. This prepares them for a career where they will work closely with pathologists and surgeons to examine organs and tissues for disease, perform autopsies and prepare tissue samples for diagnosis.
