Today, we pause to honor and remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001. We are forever grateful for the bravery of the first responders, service members, and everyday heroes who showed extraordinary courage in the face of tragedy.

🌟 Leading with Heart Spotlight 🌟

This week we are proud to recognize Julia DeVincent, LSW, our Director of Social Services, as our Leading with Heart winner! 💜

Julia is truly the heartbeat of our center, never missing a beat in all that she does. She holds herself to the highest standards and consistently goes above and beyond for residents, families, and staff alike.

From managing the day-to-day needs of our residents and their families, to being a supportive sounding board for staff, Julia’s door (and heart) are always open. ❤️

In a 62-bed center with 30–35 admissions and discharges each month, Julia plays a vital role in ensuring smooth transitions of care. She coordinates family and resident meetings, facilitates discharges, and helps families secure housing, equipment, appointments, and home services.

What many may not realize is that Julia’s care extends beyond just the resident—she is also a guiding hand for families and caregivers as they navigate new and often unfamiliar responsibilities.

We are so grateful for Julia’s dedication, compassion, and leadership. Thank you, Julia, for never missing a beat! 🎶👏

🎉 Celebrating Success at Madison Nursing & Rehab! 🎉

When Sue first arrived at Madison after breaking her left distal femur, she faced many challenges. She required maximal assistance with her daily activities and relied on a hoyer lift for transfers.

Through her hard work, determination, and the support of our rehab team, Sue made incredible progress! 💪 She went from needing full assistance to walking 150 feet with a rollator and completing her daily activities with modified independence.

Her strength, endurance, and perseverance have been inspiring to all of us. 🌟 We are so proud of Sue and her journey to recovery—and we are excited to celebrate her success as she returns home! 🏡❤️

Surrounded by her wonderful friends and loving family, Mildred enjoyed a fun-filled pizza party full of smiles, laughter, and unforgettable memories. 🍕❤️

Mildred’s kindness, wisdom, and warm spirit light up our center every day. We are so lucky to have her as part of our Madison family!
