So happy to sponsor the Mohigan 5k this morning to help raise money to rehab their auditorium! Im a proud alum of MHS and loved seeing some of my teachers this morning!

I didn’t expect to be pushing an additional 60lbs in the stroller in addition to the toddler but we made it work 😂. In case you were wondering, Heidi did not shout words of encouragement and mostly just talked smack the entire time about how I looked tired from her mounted position on the stroller.

It’s our sweet Mary’s last day at Busy Moms Healthcare. She is on her way to Physician’s Assistant school and we couldn’t be more proud of her.
Mary would be much better at making this post than I am. She is the light on a dark day, quick on her feet, deeply feeling, grateful, smart, powerful, and absolutely the person that I would want in my corner on any day of the week.

It’s not really goodbye but a see you later. The patients and other employees at BMH will miss you so deeply.

Now I need to stop crying so we can eat this cake.

Yesterday was International Day of the Midwife and we couldn’t let it pass without celebrating our very own powerhouse midwife, Heather ONeal!

Heather is not only a dedicated midwife, but also the founder and owner of Busy Moms Healthcare, providing women’s healthcare, lactation counseling, and much more to help busy moms across the region. Through her work, she’s made a lasting impact on the lives of women and families in West Virginia and the surrounding areas, offering care that is personal, empowering, and deeply rooted in community support.

Midwives like Heather provide so much more than prenatal care — they offer education, emotional support, postpartum guidance, and advocacy for birthing choices. They help create a healthier, more connected community by ensuring women are seen, heard, and cared for throughout every stage of life.

Thank you, Heather, and thank you to midwives everywhere who are doing this incredible work.
