My Weekly Personal Challenge by Dr. Troy Sedlmeyer
The rules:
1. Make a positive or fun post with some health or wellness intentions.
2. Keep it simple.
3. No judgement.
4. You may post more than once.
5. Use this as motivation to make this into a daily practice for yourself.
6. As someone somewhere once said, “Laughter is the best medicine.” Thus, a silly post, all in good taste, to make us laugh or smile is also very acceptable.
Examples:
I did sit-ups.
I did a pull-up.
I did 10 push ups.
I ran 5 minutes.
I went on a hike.
I walked my dog.
I helped my neighbor.
I had a healthy smoothie.
I improved my blood sugar.
I learned to change the tire on my vehicle.
I read a book.
I thanked a police officer for pulling me over. I told him I was really going too fast.
I called my grandmother.
I asked my grandfather to pull my finger—so in return I gave him a hug.
I made brussel sprouts, and I liked it!
I ate a vegetarian meal, then added a steak—just kidding—only had my veggies.
I was able to p*e without hitting the seat—well I lifted the seat up. (One for the guys and the ladies.)
Mine=I did my first plank. -Dr. Sedlmeyer
