🧠 Did you know stress can physically change your brain?

When cortisol (your main stress hormone) stays high for too long, it can impact how your brain functions — affecting memory, mood, sleep, and focus.

🔹 Memory problems & brain fog
🔹 Increased anxiety & depression
🔹 Poor sleep quality
🔹 Reduced focus and cognitive decline

Chronic stress isn’t just “in your head” — it reshapes it.

The good news? Managing stress can help protect your brain and mental health. Small daily habits like quality sleep, movement, mindfulness, and boundaries matter more than you think.

✨ Your brain deserves care too.

For clinicians:

When clients are engaged and insightful yet feel “stuck,” adjunctive trauma-focused care can support deeper nervous system processing—without disrupting the primary therapeutic relationship.

I offer collaborative, neuroscience-informed adjunctive care (Brainspotting, EMDR, Focusing, Polyvagal-informed) designed to complement your ongoing work while you remain the primary provider.

Referrals and brief consultation welcome.

Vibe Mantra 🎧
Breathe. Repeat. Regulate.

This playlist was created for moments when your nervous system needs softness—not pressure.
Use it for grounding, reflection, or gentle re-centering.
There’s no fixing here. Just noticing, breathing, and choosing presence.

Save it. Come back to it. Let your body lead.

What Is Brainspotting?

Brainspotting is a focused, brain-based therapy that helps identify, process, and release trauma, emotional pain, and deeply stored stress held in the nervous system. It works by locating specific eye positions—called brainspots—that are connected to unresolved experiences in the brain and body.

How Brainspotting Works

During a session, your therapist guides your eye gaze to a particular spot while you mindfully notice internal sensations. This allows the brain’s natural healing processes to access and resolve experiences that may not be easily reached through talk therapy alone.

What Brainspotting Can Help With
• Trauma and PTSD
• Anxiety and chronic stress
• Depression and emotional overwhelm
• Grief and loss
• Performance blocks and creative stagnation
• Somatic (body-based) symptoms linked to stress or trauma

Why Brainspotting Is Different

Brainspotting is gentle, attuned, and deeply somatic. It emphasizes safety, regulation, and the body’s wisdom—allowing healing to occur at your own pace without needing to relive or retell painful experiences in detail.
