Dering’s Funeral Home is a long standing establishment of Morgantown. It was originally formed in 1909 by Fred Dering then was operated by his son, Edward Dering for a number of years. In 1984 the Dering family sold the funeral home to local investors in the funeral business. After working for Dering’s Funeral Home for fifteen years, Thomas Henson had the privilege and honor of buying the funeral Home in 2008 and changed the name to Dering-Henson Funeral Home. He enjoys meeting and serving the people of the community and is proud Dering’s has been a community friend since 1909.
