If money stress has been part of why therapy keeps getting pushed to “later,” you’re not doing anything wrong.

A lot of people pause therapy during uncertain times — not because they don’t care about their mental health, but because finances feel scary, unclear, or overwhelming.

Here’s what we want you to know:
• Therapy is healthcare, not a luxury
• Using insurance is one way to make support more accessible
• You’re allowed to ask questions before committing to anything
• You deserve transparency and clarity before you start

If you’ve been carrying stress, grief, anxiety, or burnout on your own because money feels like a barrier — you’re not alone. And support may be more within reach than it feels right now.

✨ Saving this for later or sharing it with someone who’s been hesitating is more than enough.

Grief can show up as numbness.
As irritability.
As exhaustion.
As feeling “fine” one moment and completely undone the next.

There is no right way to grieve — and no timeline you’re supposed to follow.

Our Grief Support Group is a space to be with others who understand that loss doesn’t disappear just because time passes.

No fixing.
No pressure to share.
Just space to show up exactly as you are.

New Year’s resolutions are often rooted in pressure, productivity, or fixing something that isn’t broken.

This year, what if your resolution was gentler?
More rest. More honesty. More support.
You don’t have to overhaul your life to deserve care.

Save this if you’re choosing support over pressure this year.

We’re so grateful to Wallflower Connections Therapy for leading a powerful Brainspotting 101 training for our team. 👏

It was an incredible opportunity to deepen our understanding of this gentle, brain-based approach to trauma healing and emotional processing. We’re excited to continue integrating what we learned into the care we provide our clients.

Huge thank you to for sharing your expertise — and to for being part of this learning experience. 🤍

How is your body feeling now that the year has actually started?

Sometimes the calendar moves faster than our nervous systems.
Tension, fatigue, restlessness, or heaviness can be signals—not failures.

This is your reminder to pause, notice, and offer your body a little kindness today. 💛

Trauma doesn’t only live in our thoughts—it lives in the body, too.

That’s why healing can look like more than just talking. It may involve learning to feel safe again in your body, noticing sensations, and gently regulating your nervous system.

If your reactions ever feel confusing or “too much,” it doesn’t mean you’re broken. It means your body learned how to protect you. 💛

Therapy doesn’t have to start with a crisis.

You don’t need to wait until things fall apart to ask for support.
You can come to therapy because you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, curious, or simply ready to understand yourself better.

Support is allowed before the breaking point. 💛

My Practice

Chances are, if you are reading this, life feels difficult. Rarely, do encouraging or joyful life circumstances lead people to look for a therapist. Finding a therapist and scheduling that first appointment can feel overwhelming and anxiety provoking. You may be wondering if a therapist could really understand or help you. Perhaps you have tried therapy in the past and it just wasn’t a good fit. All of your thoughts and feelings make sense given your story and I would love to hear it. If life feels chaotic and your emotions feel out of control, I can help.

Attending to thoughts and feelings is a long-time passion of mine. I have found psychotherapy to be a wonderful tool. Psychotherapy is naturally healing and I have witnessed its benefits, both short and long-term, many times. A powerful process of insight and self-compassion occurs when verbalizing thoughts and feelings to another person in a confidential space.

Everyone has different experiences, thoughts, and feelings. For this reason, I practice integrative psychotherapy. This means that I utilize therapeutic interventions from multiple theories. I will adapt the therapy experience to your individual needs, paying attention to the mind, body, and spirit. My goal is to help each client find the balanced, healthy, life they want and deserve.
