We recently had the opportunity to welcome Kian Sahrai, Matt Croteau, and Ben Emanuels from Latent Health to kick off our superuser training and learn more about how emerging AI technology can support the prior authorization process.

Prior authorizations continue to grow in both volume and complexity across healthcare. Completing them often requires extensive chart review to locate the clinical information needed for payer approval, which can take significant time for care teams.

Latent surfaces the most relevant information from the EHR instantly, helping streamline the process and support faster access to therapy for patients who need it most.

We are always exploring ways to leverage technology that improves workflow efficiency, strengthens collaboration across care teams, and ultimately supports better patient outcomes.

We’re excited to share that Lisa Pitrolo, PharmD, BCPS, BCIDP will be stepping into the role of Home Infusion Manager for WVUH Specialty Pharmacy & Home Infusion.

Lisa is originally from Parkersburg, WV and currently resides in Morgantown. She brings a strong clinical and leadership background, with training at WVU School of Pharmacy, a PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency, and a PGY-2 Infectious Diseases Residency at WVUH. Her experience includes leadership and clinical roles across antimicrobial stewardship, residency and education, and enterprise medication use within WVU Medicine.

Outside of work, Lisa enjoys hiking, traveling, and attending WVU sporting events with her son.
Fun fact: She’s been skydiving in three different countries. ✈️

We’re excited to have Lisa leading our Home Infusion program and look forward to the impact she’ll make for our patients, teams, and community.
