The latest update from the CDC reports flu activity is high in Arkansas.

We encourage everyone to take preventive steps by washing your hands often, covering coughs and sneezes, avoiding close contact when feeling unwell, and getting your flu shot.

Wearing winter coats in the car during the colder months can be dangerous for babies and young kids. If you get into an accident, the fluffy padding in a coat immediately flattens out from the force, leaving extra space under the harness and putting children at risk of being thrown from their seat. Diet and regular sodas increase the risk for fatty liver disease by 50-60%. What’s fatty liver? In everyday terms, it’s where fat molecules start to take over your liver until your liver quits functioning normally. You can’t live without your liver, but by improving your health you can improve the function of your liver before it is too late.
