Morris Family Healthcare and Wellness At Morris Family Healthcare & Wellness we offer a wide range of health care services. We can also perform CDL medical exams with certification.

Services provided at this office include: Well-child and health maintenance visits for all ages. We can conduct school, camp and sports physicals, work physicals, routine, and annual physicals, Our practitioners treat acute and chronic medical problems and illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, and other medical conditions. We provide patient education about such topics as ADD/ADHD, diabetes management, hypertension, cardiac disease, weight management and smoking cessation. In addition we provide care for infants, children and adults with special needs. We can also care for your aging relatives residing in local skilled nursing facilities. Our skilled nursing staff provides a variety of services such as blood pressure monitoring, immunizations such as influenza, pneumonia, tetanus and other scheduled immunizations. Our on site lab can draw your acute and routine labs without having to drive to another facility.

It’s true, I haven’t posted in a while. I have left Dr. Vermillion, the office not my husband. Lol When Dave and I made the decision to join the DuPage Medical group we saw many changes. We hope you are enjoying the extended scheduling hours, the ability to get your flu vaccine without an appointment, the ability to see your records using the patient portal, the ability to make payments on line and many other advantages.
When Boncura came in to manage the office this allowed Dr Vermillion to focus more on patient care instead of so many administrative tasks. This allowed him to add more slots to his schedule to see more patients, because that’s what he really enjoys doing.
Boncura brought in a team of specialized people to handle many of the tasks we used to do by ourselves. Of course it took us more than 8 hours a day, 5 days a week! I was flattered to learn how many people it took to accomplish what the 2 of us did!
I have enjoyed working with our patients and their families to help with insurance/billing and any other questions, and will miss seeing some of our regulars. I can not count the number of times I spoke with you on the phone and told Dr we would be staying late or working through our lunch for somebody that “just had to be seen” today. I found it hard to say “no” to any sick or child in pain.
I am moving on to work in another medical office in Morris and hope to see you around. Dave and I are so happy with the success of our “second home” and want to thank you for your part in making this medical practice the success story it has become.

TEACHERS, Dr Vermillion and I promised to give a cash gift of $50 to any Morris classroom if we could compile a list of 50 teachers. We did not reach our goal of 50 teachers but we do have a long list.No tricks, no strings attached, just a way to say Thank you for your time and devotion. I NEED THE FIRST PERSON TO RESPOND TO THIS WITH A NUMBER BETWEEN 50-100. I will alphabetize by last name ( or last name of hyphenated) and select the teacher to receive the gift. We will stand by the offer of $50 to this teacher’s classroom. I will list off the teachers submitted and and you can check my counting skills. SOMEONE GIVE ME A NUMBER ( I have 2 lists of names to combine)

The kids are all Back in School! Raising our kids in Morris, we know the value of a GREAT TEACHER! Dave and I would like to make a $50 CASH donation to a MORRIS CLASSROOM. Please help us choose a recipient. COMMENT below the NAME and SCHOOL of the TEACHER you think deserves the donation. YES, you can choose yourself if you are a teacher in any Morris classroom! Please help us spread the word. We would like to have a large pool of teachers to choose from. We will randomly select a classroom to receive the donation when we have 50 names to choose from. I am cleaning up the books for Dr Vermillion and some of you are getting a refund. If you paid us a copay on a ”Well Visit” you will be getting a check in the mail from us. In some cases your insurance may have made additional payments after we billed you. We are sending you a check too!
