(Gooselake to be exact!) Read my description for the story behind "The Ivory Dresser". Hi Everyone- Welcome to "The Ivory Dresser"- I Decided to take my hobby to a new level. And just like us...furniture deserves a second chance at life- a new beginning, a fresh make-over, a funky new twist. "The Ivory Dresser" gets its' name from being the very first piece of furniture I sold. These are pieces that I have come across on curbs for garbage or have picked up at garage sales. Some of them are from the good-will and some are from estate sales. I rehab them all and sell them locally out of my garage (located in the Morris Area- Goose Lake to be exact) and through various websites. I thought it wouldn't hurt to put them up on my page as well. Some of them have wonderful stories behind them, some of them have inspiring stories behind them.....and some of them were just plain garbage. My goal was to do something on the side that I love, to do something that was therapeutic, and to do something where I could make a little extra money and yet drink wine at work if I should want to! :) This new gig meets all of the above criteria. By no means am I a professional. If you buy something and don't like it- Ill take it back. Not looking to make enemies- just memories. My pricing is dependent on what I originally pay for the piece myself, the quality of the piece, and how much supply I put into it. You may sometimes see a dresser for $50.00 and may sometimes see a dresser for $150.00. I'm a wheeler and dealer - I get that from my Mama. So don't be afraid to make an offer. My hours are dependent on when I feel like being open- (How about that for a sweet work schedule!) Just message me to set up a time, and I will open up. However- I do plan to have one day a week of set hours in the Summer. (I am a teacher- Im off in the Summers- It's the least I can do). Anyways, on behalf of a girl with a dream to own her own shop one day- but who will settle for her garage because it's cheaper and she can still watch her babies play in the front yard from where she's working- Thanks for looking! Lovin my Life and you all- This site is back up and running- Dedicated to the one person who believed in me when I no longer longer believed in myself. Who reminded me to follow my dreams just when I was about to give up! Hoping for Raleigh, I can see my baby tonight. Welcome to the Ivory Dresser- The Front Door is always open:) - Jenna
