Has it really been TWO years?! HOW??!!

Quiet Kyla’s 2-year work anniversary snuck up on us, and we wanted to take a moment to celebrate how much she has grown as a therapist.

She started out as a classroom assistant, getting to know the layout of ABA land — a huge shift from her previous background. But she jumped in, learned, and grew…and eventually transitioned into the solid RBT we count on every single day.

Her confidence has soared, as has her ability to come out of her shell and get wonderfully silly with the kiddos (something we pried out of her piece by piece 😄).

Kyla is currently finishing her bachelor’s in ABA and plans to pursue her master’s on her path to becoming a BCBA. We are so proud of the therapist she is today, and we cannot wait to see the incredible things she’ll accomplish next! 💙

🌟 Staff Spotlight: Molly! 🌟
“The kiddos I work with always give me a reason to smile and laugh, even on the tougher days. They have my whole heart, and I love watching them grow each day.”

This month we are celebrating the wonderful Molly, whose passion and kindness brighten every room she walks into!

Molly leads the student ministry at her church, pouring love, guidance, and joy into the lives of young people every single week. When she’s not making a difference in her students’ lives, you can usually find her with a book in hand, capturing memories behind a camera, or bragging about her favorite role of all — being the best aunt ever! Oh, and we can’t forget — she’s also a proud cat mom, which just adds to her list of amazing titles.

Fueled by coffee, energy drinks, and a diet that consists almost entirely of Jimmy John’s, Molly is truly unstoppable. ☕⚡And if you need a boost of encouragement, she’s your girl — because she’s always reminding us that “It’s a great day to have a great day!” ✨

She’ll never say no to anything pink or purple, and one of the most inspiring things about her is her heart for others. In 2018, she shaved her head and donated her hair to support pediatric cancer patients, a beautiful reminder of just how deeply she cares for the world around her. 🎗️
We’re so grateful to have Molly on our team — for her laughter, her compassion, and the way she shows up for kids every single day. 🌟

Jacqueline is killing it in UABL’s friendly fall competitions (much to Sara’s dismay 🤣). She took the pumpkin decorating contest with her amazing ice cream sundae pumpkin, and now she’s taken the crown in our first-ever Chili Cook-Off with her delicious white chicken chili!

Jamie snagged second place (with a little assist from her better half, who supplied the chili! 😅), and Kelli grabbed third — great job, ladies!

Thank you to all of our staff who jumped in and participated. You made our monthly evening all-staff training just a little bit more spicy! 🌶️✨

Meet one of the incredible hearts behind UABL — this month’s Therapist Spotlight, Stevi Angell!

Stevi has been working with children with special needs for five years and officially joined the ABA world in February 2025. Her journey started in a multi-needs classroom, where she fell in love with helping kids grow—but she wanted more structure, challenge, and opportunity to make a real impact. That’s when she discovered UABL and instantly knew it was the perfect fit. Watching how quickly UABL was growing and seeing the passion behind it made her think, “This is where I’m meant to be.”

For Stevi, the best part of her day is watching her learners work hard and achieve their goals—whether it’s a small step forward or a huge milestone. The smiles, laughter, and genuine connections she builds with her kiddos make every day worthwhile. Her goal each session? Bring her best self, keep things fun, and always sprinkle in a little silliness along the way!

Looking ahead, Stevi hopes to continue honing her craft and become a top-notch Registered Behavior Therapist, working across all ages and skill sets while helping UABL grow even stronger. Outside of work, you’ll find her in full mom mode—making slime, painting, cooking, hanging with family and friends, and keeping the coffee flowing nonstop. ☕

🎃 Pumpkin Decorating Contest Alert! 🎃

Huge props to our amazingly talented therapists (and their creative kiddos!) for going all out in this year’s pumpkin decorating contest! 🧡 From dragons 🐉 and ice cream sundaes 🍨 to soccer balls ⚽️ (yes, soccer balls, not cows! 😆) — the creativity and effort were off the charts.

Every pumpkin was crafted with so much heart to bring smiles to our kiddos’ faces and a little extra joy to our clinic this fall. 🍁✨

It’s been a fun holiday week at UABL — packed with pajamas, Halloween, and now… Twins Day! 🎃🩵👯‍♀️

We had some spot-on duos that absolutely nailed it — from matching outfits to full-on personality twinning! 💫
