We provide ABA and Speech services to kiddos from 2 to 10 years old at our Autism Learning Center in Morris, IL. Unlocking Abilities is based out of Morris, IL.

At Unlocking Abilities Behavior and Learning our goal is to assist each child in reaching their full potential by implementing the evidenced-based principles and practices of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Our compassionate and highly trained staff offer effective and intensive one-on-one therapy to children who have been diagnosed with Autism, developmental disorders, and behavioral disorders. Our services are designed to meet the individual needs of each child and to maintain lasting changes by working with children to reduce problem behaviors and increase the acquisition of appropriate social, play, communicative, and adaptive living skills. We provide services in parts of western Will County, southern Kendall County and Grundy County. This includes but is not limited to Morris, Minooka, Coal City, Braceville, Joliet, Shorewood, Morris, Channahon. Depending on geographical location, Unlocking Abilities may accept clients outs

🎉 Congratulations, Miss Stevi! 🎉

We are beyond excited to give a huge shout out to our amazing Miss Stevi, who is now officially a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)!

Stevi joined UABL in February and quickly found her place on our team. Her sassy (and—according to Jamie—a slightly dramatic) personality, paired with her love and dedication to our kiddos, makes her such a perfect fit.

We are so proud of her accomplishment and cannot wait to see how she continues to grow as a therapist here at UABL. Way to go, Stevi!💙

Did you know that just a little time with horses can do wonders for stress relief? 🐴✨ This weekend, some of our UABL staff members were able to experience the amazing benefits of connecting with horses.

As many of you know, we’ve been working on building an equine program tailored to kiddos with special needs—and the journey has been incredible so far.

If you look closely at the line of horses, you’ll spot Mesa—the stunning black-and-white horse that Sara is riding. She’s eager to make new pals, and we can’t wait for our learners to experience the magic she brings to the equine world.

A special thank you to Millbrook Trail Rides for graciously hosting us this weekend—and for providing a summer of training to Mesa, preparing her to become a gentle and supportive companion for the kiddos at UABL. 💙🐎

We may be a day late, but we couldn’t miss the chance to celebrate someone as special as you! Kyla has been with Unlocking Abilities since November 2023, and we’re beyond lucky that she’s made a home with us (even if she keeps dreaming of running off to Wyoming 🏔️).

She might be the quiet one in our bunch, but her calm presence, dedication, and incredible patience speak volumes with every kiddo she supports. 💛
