Where would we be without BCBA Karen?! From the moment she walks in, she leads with love, light, and positivity — truly a ray of sunshine here at UABL. 💛 Her calming energy, genuine heart, and hands-on support make such a powerful difference for both our kiddos and our therapists every single day.
With over 11 years in the field and 9 years as a BCBA, Karen brings an incredible depth of knowledge, compassion, and creativity to everything she does. She believes learning should be fun, engaging, and play-based — and it shows in the confidence, independence, and communication skills she helps her learners build. She’s not only an amazing clinician, but an inspiring teacher, mentor, and trainer who lifts everyone around her.
And outside of work? Karen somehow does it all:
