Minooka Fire District is hosting a special Child Safety Seat Technician class for firefighters and police officers. As part of their final practical, they need to install/inspect car seats at an event. They are having a free car seat check day on May 21, 2026 12:30-2:00 pm at the fire station.

🚗👶 Calling all moms, dads, grandparents, and caregivers! 👶🚗

The Minooka Fire District is looking for families to participate in an upcoming Child Safety Seat Check Event!

Why participate?
✅ Have your child’s car seat professionally inspected and properly installed
✅ Make sure your little one is riding as safely as possible
✅ Help new Child Passenger Safety Technicians complete their certification training with hands-on experience

This is a FREE event and a great opportunity to learn, ask questions, and make sure your child’s seat is installed correctly.

Motherhood is not one story. It's thousands.

We honor the woman who carried life and nurtured it with fierce devotion. The adoptive mother who opened her heart and home, proving love knows no bounds. The spiritual mother and mentor who spoke truth into someone's life and never knew how far it reached. The mother who carries love and loss — whose child lives in her heart instead of her arms. And the mother whose arms are still waiting — still daring to believe.

Then there are the ones whose ache today is quieter, less spoken — but just as deeply felt.
