I have been remiss in posting a recognition that our CEO Pam Pfister received from the Illinois Critical Access Hospital Network. She completed her year as president of the organization last fall. The mission of ICAHN is – and always has been – to strengthen critical access and small, rural hospitals through collaboration. Better together, ICAHN and its 60 member hospitals make it their overarching goal to preserve access to rural healthcare while improving the vibrancy and viability of the communities served. Executive Director Tracy Warner noted that she relied so much on Pam for support and feedback during her first year as director of the organization. Pam still serves as a valuable resource to ICAHN this year as past-president. We are so honored to have someone of Pam's leadership ability to lead Morrison Community Hospital to greater levels of patient care. Congratulations on a job well done Pam!

We are so excited to announce our hospital is NOW offering Hormone Replacement Therapy Menopause and Perimenopause Care, and Men's Testosterone consultations with men. Thank you Lab team for supporting the Morrison Fire Department Trivia night. I tried to phone a friend from my fellow lab employees table on the question "what makes blood turn red?" but I was denied. And as you can see, they are excited about Mr. February- our very own maintenance guy- Tanner Shear! Thanks for volunteering on the fire department Tanner!

Well, it turned out that Santa had one last stop before he went back to the North Pole. He wanted to say hello to our patients who had to spend Christmas in the hospital and he heard that our dietary employees make the BEST COOKIES! Until next year, we all promise to stay on the Nice list!
