VISITOR/PATIENT PARKING- Saturday, September 6.
Visitors and patients will park in the employee parking lot on the west side (back side) of the hospital and enter/exit through the employee entrance. All parking access will be from Oakland Ave. A golf cart will be available to give patients rides to the door. The front parking lot is being resurfaced. Thank you!

It was an exciting day at Morrison Community Hospital. Today we installed the final beam for the hospital expansion. Thank you to Vegter Steel Fabrication for painting the beam white so employees, families and friends could sign their names and personal messages to be embedded in OUR hospital. Hospital employees, board members and friends gathered to witness this momentous occasion!

We are back at the garden again this Thursday, July 10 from 5:00-6:00! These complimentary classes are open to the entire community. Come on down to the garden by French Creek Park and learn more about pollination while enjoying a wonderful snack prepared by the Homegrown Healthy team. Just bring a lawn chair or a blanket and enjoy the class! In case of rain, we will meet in the Morrison Community Hospital conference room located just inside the Rehab entrance door at the Southeast part of the hospital parking lot.

I would like to give you an update on progress with construction of our new building addition. As you can see the elevator shaft has been completed and forms are now being erected for our retaining wall. That retaining wall is shown at the bottom of the final addition photo. Keep checking our page for continuing updates. We hope to be completed in May 2026!

JUST A QUICK NOTE- NEW ATTENDEES ARE WELCOME!! Even though the flyer indicates you must commit to all 10 classes, you are more than welcome to join us tomorrow night from 5:00-6:00

What a wonderful time we had last Thursday night. Master Gardener Bruce Black discussed some planting tips with our group. We then took a few minutes to plant some Abraham Lincoln tomatoes and some Bell peppers. Bruce and his class at Sauk Valley College grew these plants from seed. Mr. Black also provided several packets of bush beans to plant as well. It is NOT too late to join us this week at the Morrison Hospital Community Garden at French Creek Park on the south side of Morrison just off highway 78. You can use the QR code on this flyer to register or come and sign up on June 5 at 5:00. The class is only 1 hour long and the time just flies by! This week we will be introduced to hydroponics and each attendee will get a complimentary kit. See you there!
