The future of behavioral health care is taking shape, and BHSN is at the table!

Members of our senior leadership team recently traveled to Denver for NatCon, the field’s premier event for bold ideas and breakthrough solutions. From cutting-edge insights and dynamic learning sessions to networking with the brightest minds in mental health and substance use care, our team is soaking up every moment.

We are excited to bring these proven strategies and innovative perspectives back to the North Country and Capital Region to continue enhancing our local impact.

Join us Saturday, May 9 @ noon for the 4th Annual 5K Run for Ari!

👟 It's during this run that we honor Ari, a cherished community member lost to intimate partner violence. Lace up your shoes and run (or walk) on this day of community, remembrance, and advocacy.

😺 Ari had a huge heart for animals. In her honor, we are thrilled to host Focus on Ferals for an on-site cat adoption event! Come find a new furry friend or learn more about how you can support local animals in need.

🛑 All proceeds and awareness efforts directly benefit STOP Domestic & Sexual Violence (STOP DSV), a program of BHSN.

💜 Your participation provides critical resources for survivors, helps us develop high-risk intervention teams, and funds educational programs that teach the importance of healthy boundaries and self-determination.

Let’s run toward a future free of violence and filled with hope.

Prioritizing the health of our workforce starts with open, honest conversations.

BHSN was honored to participate and be one of the sponsors in the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce Workplace Health & Wellness Council’s annual symposium earlier this week at Glens Falls Hospital.

The key takeaway? While burnout can be treated, prevention is the most powerful tool we have. By understanding how high-stress environments affect our bodies, we can better support ourselves and our colleagues in building sustainable, healthy careers.

Thank you to the ARCC and our panelists for sharing such critical expertise with the community!

Community is a promise to show up for one another when things get difficult.

We are incredibly humbled to share that the BHSN team and our supporters raised over $4,000 for the AFSP Out of the Darkness Campus Walks! From the campuses of SUNY Plattsburgh to SUNY Adirondack, we walked to break the silence surrounding mental health and to ensure that no one in our community has to walk their path alone.

A special shout-out to our team at SUNY Adirondack, where the top three individual fundraisers were all members of the BHSN family!

Whether we were handing out resources or offering a listening ear, these moments remind us why we do this work: to ensure hope always has a home in the North Country and Capital Region.

Community is more than just a zip code or a shared office space. It’s a promise we make to one another to show up when things get difficult. Recently, that promise was felt in every footstep as BHSN joined neighbors, students, and advocates for the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention (AFSP)...
