A nice young lady just stopped into the station because she noticed our flag flying outside, needed replacement. She brought us a new one. In speaking with this nice lady we learned that the North Honor Flight takes old flags and recycles the stars out of them and places them with a card and gives them to veterans as a show of support. She asked if she could take our old flag because they were short on stars to make more cards. What a great token to our veterans. If anyone has an old flag that they would like to donate to the North Country Honor Flight, please reach out and we can help facilitate this if needed. Thank you for the education this morning. What a great group!
