Have you been diagnosed with Uterine Fibroids? We can help with Uterine Fibroid Embolization! This minimally invasive procedure cuts off the blood supply to the fibroids. This stops the heavy menstrual bleeding, with other symptoms resolving over the next several months. Sometimes your fistula or graft will become blocked by a blood clot. We call this thrombosis. Blood clots form when blood does not flow adequately, and it begins to coagulate and form clots that cause a blockage. Our Interventional Radiologists will perform a thrombolysis/thrombectomy, or declot. Medicine such as TPA is used to dissolve the clot and a device is used that will break the clot up. This is performed until the clot is removed and blood flow returns to normal. The best part? We offer same or next day appointments so that your dialysis schedule is not interrupted!

The difference between a normal artery and one with Peripheral Arterial Disease is that the artery affected by PAD has plaque building up that has caused a narrowing and decreases blood flow to your legs. Some symptoms of PAD include leg discomfort and pain while walking and wounds on your feet. Our treatments for PAD include peripheral angioplasty/stenting and atherectomy procedures.

Here's a little fun to get you ready for the weekend! Here is our star "Jimmy" the fish. Jimmy is a 10 year old Unicorn Tang. His diet includes brown and red algae.

Our patients absolutely love our fish tank that is located in our lobby and some even identify us as "the place with the fish tank"😁
