Running a small business means your phone is basically a 24/7 customer service line, help desk, tech support, therapist, and scheduling assistant… all in one. 😅

Texts, DMs, emails, booking requests, last-minute questions… sometimes all at the exact same time.

And while we love our clients and appreciate every single one of you, the truth is — when you own the business, there isn’t really an “off” switch.

It’s essential to have boundaries- even with your friends who are clients to ensure that your work life balance stays intact.

So sometimes the only thing you can do is laugh, take a breath, protect your peace, and keep it moving.

Because behind every appointment, treatment, and glowing result is a small business owner doing a million things at once.

To all the service providers and small business owners out there…

The reality is that inequities in medical school acceptance rates and professional opportunities have long limited representation in medicine. That’s why education is not optional for Dr. Joni — it’s a responsibility.
