This is the same client I've been working on. I've done 4 treatments now and it's really starting to show. There isn't much awareness about lymphedema. I'm so thankful to have been led to take the class for this.
Sometimes it moves quickly and for some with fibrotic tissue, it takes longer. I shared it with my instructor just to be sure I'm handling things properly.
We are making good progress considering it originally felt like concrete.
I cannot wait for the better results to come. I am absolutely invested in getting this client better enough for surgery.
In 2 weeks between treatments he lost 10 ½ pounds!!!
Manual lymphatic drainage is amazing!
If you know others with lymphadema, let them know there are treatments to help them feel better.

Im a few pages in and im so glad I ordered this book.
22 years ago I was taught that massage spread cancer.
So thankful that so much in the massage world/ massage research has evolved. 🩷

I didnt know I could love my calling any more than I already do.
Today I had the opportunity to do manual lymphatic drainage on 2 seperate clients that had mommy make overs.
When I first started breast massage, I was leaning towards working with breast cancer patients.
After working on these sweet ladies that had all these surgeries to help them feel better in their own bodies, I realized I have a new passion.
It is beautiful work for beautiful people.
So very thankful to be chosen to help them on their journies. 🩷
