Great news for the Neurodivergent community! An online roundtable of more than 50 companies has joined together to create hiring initiatives for potential neurodivergent employees.

IBM, Dell, and Microsoft are some of the companies that are committed to increasing neurodiversity employment in the workplace. Microsoft has created a “Neurodivergent Inclusivity Division” which seeks to hire individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) & Dyslexia.

“We’re trying to solve the problem where employers say they want to hire neurodivergent talent and can’t find people. And we have job seekers who say they can’t find who all these employers are,” says Neil Barnett, director of Accessibility and Inclusive Hiring at Microsoft.
