Guidance for week of January 11, 2026:“Don’t be Afraid to Use that Stick”

This week may test your dedication or trigger anxiety about standing your ground. You might need to show backbone and defend yourself when threatened—quite possibly the last thing you want to do when you’re questioning whether you have enough “gas left in the tank”. But sometimes self-protection requires us to tussle with danger rather than yield to it. Hardly a pushover, the Knight of Wands doesn’t play defense—he aggressively warns: “Don’t even think about it”. Sometimes people gotta know you have teeth. Waste no time in giving them a taste of what you “have under the hood”. Open the throttle and make it clear you mean business this time. Your bite needs to match your bark. Anger is a far better fuel than fear or regret. Burns hotter, with greater thrust. Use that feisty energy to propel yourself forward or hold the ground you’ve gained. Do it without fear of losing connections—some sacrifices are worth making. This isn’t a time for coddling or mildness; it’s a time for decisive action and boundary-setting, even if bridges burn. Move forward unapologetically. Don’t let past disappointments, emotional destabilization, or sabotage keep you stuck in neutral. Keep your eyes on the road ahead. Leave the rest in your rearview. The way out is through—and sometimes that means leaving wreckage behind.

Guidance for week of January 4, 2026:Collective Guidance:“Pioneering the New Status Quo”

“Gathering Together”, stresses the strength of numbers, of communities coming together for a common purpose. These are movements gathering momentum & power. This echoes the message of Mannaz from the yearly reading—combining our individual talents to overcome obstacles or cut new productive paths. Knowing its power & how to wield it, understanding the impact it can make if we cooperatively work together—this will take tolerance, maturity, & patience. It may look like Divine Chaos. We will be tested. 2026 is a One year, the Magician Year. The Magician embodies masculine power—action-oriented, will-directed. Magicians are the providers of form—they take sovereign responsibility for creating their reality, serving as a bridge between the Dream & the Manifested, between the Gods & Earth. The Magician makes things happen by will & talent, in this case not only to benefit himself but for the whole as well. In 2025, we may have left things to chance, gambling on larger systems (their good intentions vs reality) to get the help we needed. In 2026, we need to make our own luck. Moving from “What will happen to me?” to “What will I create? How will I use my talents to chart a new course?” We must be able to navigate using these skills, our wits, our faith, adjusting our direction where needed to stay on course despite turbulent waters. The truth is, there are times when we can only rely on our own wit / belief to cut a new path forward. Ace of Swords indicates a readiness for battle & being victorious over any obstacle we face. Ingwaz, a rune of patient development and hidden potential signifies a profoundly fertile time where developing plans and efforts gather strength beneath the surface. Like a seed in soil, all your stored energy is collecting, building incrementally, and preparing to eventually burst forth -to be realized in its fullest potential. During this incubation period, a Cosmic bit of insight is received, represented by “Higher Power” unlocking a profound moment of understanding and clarity. This incoming gift bridges the gap between logic and intuition, serving the answer to a question or a validation to something felt on a gut level. Guidance for December 14, 2025: “Peace on Earth and Goodwill towards Men”

This December calls for us to receive with gratitude the joy of the 4 of Wands. It’s a time to celebrate with friends, family, and those around us, opening ourselves to community and genuine connection. Recent times have been dark; a lightening of spirit would be welcomed. Perhaps you may receive a surprise encounter that generates a thrill or injects new energy in your life. Give yourself the freedom to take advantage of this time —to get caught up in the holiday spirit and enjoy the company of others. Truly appreciating the season with passion, excitement, and authentic happiness. You’ll get more out of it than you might realize. What we need to give is expressed as the 5 of Pentacles: The Gift of Charity. This is the season of thinking of others who go without or struggle to get by. Extend your care, attention, resources to those experiencing loss or hard times. Simply extending your time to those who are losing hope may be the saving grace they’re searching for. Again, I say, you may get more of it than you may realize. A lightbulb moment occurs; one of expanding clarity about what you find personally valuable, highlighted by the 10 of cups. A card of great satisfaction and fulfillment—one that broadens our sense of connection to all in our circle and awakens us to just how blessed and lucky we truly are. Where can one be adaptable? Knight of Swords:🤺

While your words can be like a “breath of fresh air”, some may not appreciate their frankness or blunt honesty. Developing a keener emotional awareness & sensitivity can soften the sharp edges of your communication without dulling its impact. Can you effectively get your point across without sounding preachy, imposing your point of view, or overriding the ideas of others? The focus is always on the greater need, not just being right.

Areas of massive expansion: 9 of Wands 🧿🕶️🪬

Increased awareness of where you’ll need to be more protective of your energy. You are expanding the boundary of what you can presently see—beyond its current limits. This widening aperture may come under attack & need defending. The more you see, the more you are seen— the greater the possibility for attack. Defend what you know & keep it safe. There will be more reason to use discernment, discretion, & discipline.

Guidance for November 16, 2025:
“The Self-Directed Thaw Out”

The dice (5+2) signal a necessary change to get what you wish—but you’re paralyzed. Inner doubt, disconnection, and mistrust have frozen you in place, unable to advance. The Idea hints there are many thoughts buzzing in your head trying to get your attention, creating an inner conflict. They urge to get something realized before time runs out or opportunities move onto someone else. And yet, a weakened Conductor signifies your creative energies are not flowing the way they should. Little gets accomplished. Struggling to move from the inside out the world passes you by, as you’re trapped in apathy and lack of enthusiasm for your own life. “The Standstill” invites you to address why this is so. Staying frozen in place will not gain competence, wins or honor but it offers something else: an opportunity to examine what’s causing your collapse. Why have confidence, clarity, and motivation abandoned you? Very little can be gained externally until you address this internal lack of initiative. And yet, there’s a lot you may learn about yourself as you struggle with this hardship. This may take a little while to decipher with meditation & honest self-examination. Withdraw to quiet the chaos in your head so you may remember the truths of your talents and not the cowardly lies your mind whispers. Nurture your inner strength & rebuild bravery so you can take the lead in your own life. Once you’ve reclaimed your bravery and silenced the doubt, take control and play out your life the way it’s meant to be lived- recapturing the reigns instead of being dragged along.

Guidance for October 26, 2025:
“Finding a New Normal”

There’s something to be said about experience & the wisdom gained from it, but that doesn’t mean you have to be in control all the time in every situation. Under the guise of maintaining safety or holding it all together because others couldn’t or wouldn’t, control had become the 800-lb gorilla on your back. It took a lot of energy to impose order, play by the rules or be the biggest adult in the room. After a while, it was no longer fun telling everyone what to do & how to do it —you were more than ready to pass that baton to someone else so you could finally enjoy some comfort. Thankfully, things have loosened up now, and you’re able to enjoy yourself much more. Feel no guilt about having “a whale of a time” right now. Yeah, maybe you were a fun-suck at times, but that’s the reason why you can enjoy these rewards now. Let yourself indulge a bit because you’ll be leveling up soon—it almost feels like having to return from summer vacation. In the future, change that “sets your hair on fire” enters the picture. This won’t necessarily be uncomfortable, but it will require some adjustments & quiet composure. You may have to integrate some of your old Emperor ways while still striving to enjoy the good life of ease & relaxation. This incoming transition will require moderation & finding balance between the two making this your new normal. You can enjoy a certain amount of stability in how things have been, but circumstances change constantly, encouraging us to keep growing and adapting to new normals. Remember: you don’t have to take that baton back and manage everything on your own. You’ll be able to join forces with others—just keep your old habit of being “the boss” in check. Let others do their part as this all comes together.
